LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) -Terrence Howard and T.I. are backing away from statements they made defending Chris Brown.
Terrence described the incident as “just life, man” before adding, “Rihanna knows he loves her.” While T.I. said Chris was “cool” and that fans shouldn’t “expect [entertainers] not to make mistakes because we will.”
Now, both are clarifying their earlier statements, saying they didn’t know all the facts at the time.
“When [reporters] asked me about Chris Brown the other day, I was in no way aware of what he had been accused of,” Howard said in a statement to E! News.
“Had I known, I would have never had said something so insensitive.”
And T.I. issued a statement saying he “made a mistake of commenting before understanding the situation.”
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Bono and his U2 bandmates will be on David Letterman’s “Late Show” everyday for an entire week.
The band will be Dave’s musical guest each night the week of March 2nd to promote their new CD “No Line on The Horizon.”
This is the first time any musical guest has been booked for 5 continuous days on the show.
“Late Show” airs on CBS.
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - The Los Angeles Police Department confirms to X17online that Brit’s Ex, Adnan Ghalib, is being investigated for allegedly trying to run over a process server with his car outside his Encino apartment.
The LAPD says officers took a report at the scene and are investigating the case as a possible felony assault with a deadly weapon.
It’s not clear if Adnan has been interviewed by the LAPD about the incident.
No charges have been filed against Ghalib.

According to MTV, the tween heartthrobs would like to contribute a song to the upcoming movie’s soundtrack.
The movie was obviously a huge success, and if they asked us to be a part of [the sequel], that would be great,” Nick Jonas said. “It would be really cool.
No word if producers plan on taking the brothers up on the offer.

According to E! News, the event will be at Guy Oseary’s LA area home.
Last years invitees included, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, Cameron Diaz and Orlando Bloom.
Vanity Fair magazine will also be hosting a smaller, scaled down version of their legendary Oscar night even. That party will be held at the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood.
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - A source tells Us Weekly that Chris Brown and Rihanna have a “volatile” relationship, and an insider close to Rihanna tells the magazine that she had “clearly visible” bruises on her neck in early December.
The friend asked the singer what was going on with her and Chris, to which she simply responded, “We broke up again.”
According to Life & Style Chris Brown has had a previous encounter with law enforcement.
At a hotel in Miami in 2007, police were called to Chris’ room after he got into a fight with his mom and was reportedly “screaming and throwing dishes.”
“He was fighting with his mom. Neighboring hotel guests alerted security and they came upstairs to the room, saw the broken dishes and the mess, and then asked his mother to leave the room.
Police were then called, but charges were not filed as Chris simply paid the hotel bill and left the hotel,” a source told the magazine.

LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - A Thai government official is criticizing Angelina Jolie for speaking out on behalf of Muslim refugees from Myanmar.
Angelina called for better treatment of the refugees, known as the Rohingya, during a visit to Thailand last week.
Thailand’s military has recently been accused of detaining and beating hundreds of Rohingya who fled abuse and poverty in Myanmar, before towing them back out to sea in tiny boats with little food and water, according to the Associated Press.
The permanent secretary of the Thai foreign ministry says the UNHCR should not have brought Jolie, the organization’s goodwill ambassador, to the camps.
The UNHCR wouldn’t comment on the official’s rebuke, but issued the following statement.
“Angelina Jolie was extremely touched by the plight of the Rohingya people. She expressed the hope that the human rights of the Rohingya people will be respected just as the human rights of everyone in the world should be respected.”
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - Mandy Moore is reportedly set to wed longtime boyfriend singer Ryan Adams, according to Life&Style magazine.
The magazine says Moore was spotted wearing an engagement ring over the weekend in Los Angeles.
“She is so excited about their engagement but admits it’s been a whirlwind. She’s really happy,” the magazine reports.
So far, there’s no comment on the engagement from Moore.
LOS ANGELES, California (X17online) - A text message from another woman may have started the argument that led the fight in which Rihanna was allegedly assaulted by her boyfriend Chris Brown.
According to TMZ, Brown received a text message from a woman who wanted to meet up with the R&B singer later in the evening.
The report also reveals that the police report of the incident mentions an argument over a rapper - however, TMZ says this was not what started the altercation in Brown’s rented silver Lamborghini.
