Danica Sue Patrick (born March 25, 1982 in Beloit, Wisconsin) is an American auto racing driver competing in the IndyCar Series. She is from an Irish-American family and was raised in Roscoe, Illinois. Patrick was named the Rookie of the Year for both the 2005 Indianapolis 500 and the 2005 IndyCar Series season. In May 2006, she published her autobiography, Danica: Crossing the Line.

go-karting in 1992 at Sugar River Raceway outside of Brodhead, Wisconsin and went on to win several national championships. She moved to England at the age of 16 in order to advance her racing career. She has also earned a GED. Focusing primarily on road racing, Patrick raced in several developmental open-wheel series while in Europe, including Formula Ford and Formula Vauxhall. Patrick earned a second-place finish in England’s extremely competitive Formula Ford Festival, the highest-ever finish by either a woman or an American in the event.

In 2002, Patrick signed a multi-year deal to race for the team of Bobby Rahal. After making several starts in the Barber Dodge Pro Series, she moved to the Toyota Atlantic Championship for 2003. Driving for Rahal Letterman Racing with sponsorship from Argent, Patrick achieved moderate success in the Toyota Atlantic series. During her time in Atlantics, she won one pole and was a consistent podium finisher (top three); however, she never won a race. In 2004, Patrick finished third in the Championship. After the 2004 racing season, Rahal Letterman Racing officially announced that Patrick would drive in the IRL IndyCar Series for 2005.

On May 29, 2005, Patrick became only the fourth woman to qualify for the Indianapolis 500, following Janet Guthrie, Lyn St. James and Sarah Fisher. After posting the fastest practice speed of the month (229.880 mph / 369.956 km/h) during the morning practice session on the first day of qualifications (May 15), she made an error in the first turn of her first qualifying lap, and failed to capture the pole position, which instead went to Tony Kanaan. Patrick’s fourth starting position, however, was still the highest ever attained for the race by a female driver. Patrick has also had to deal with sexist remarks from fellow racers, who feel that auto racing is a man’s sport. In May 2006, after an appearance on ESPN SportsCenter’s Budweiser Hot Seat, Patrick made comments that ruffled the feathers of former NASCAR drivers. Former driver Richard Petty responded, in a separate interview, by stating, “I just don’t think it’s a sport for women, and so far, it’s proved out. It’s really not. It’s good for them to come in. It gives us a lot of publicity, it gives them publicity. But as far as being a real true racer, making a living out of it, it’s kind of tough.”

Elle Macpherson (born 29 March 1963) is an Australian supermodel and actress. She is most famous worldwide for her five cover appearances on Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue in the 1980s and 1990s. Nicknamed “The Body”, she is 183cm (6′0″) tall. On 26 April 1999, the post office of Antigua and Barbuda issued a sheetlet of eight different $1.20 postage stamps with images of Elle Macpherson (Scott #2241) — the first time that any post office had issued stamps to honour a Super Model.

On July 12 and 23 of 1997, William Ryan Holt and Michael Mischler burgled Macpherson’s Los Angeles home while she was away on business in Chicago. The pair stole an estimated $100,000 worth of jewelery, $6,000 in cash and 15 nude photographs. Shortly after the burglaries, Macpherson was contacted by telephone and by mail from someone who threatened to release the photos on the Internet if she did not give them $60,000. Macpherson called the police, who set up a sting operation. After the pair realized that law enforcement had been called, they increased their demand by an additional $20,000. The duo was arrested on August 4, 1997.

Macpherson married Gilles Bensimon in 1985, but the couple divorced as Macpherson’s career escalated in 1989. She was then rumoured to be dating comedian Norm Macdonald, around the time he was promoting the movie Dirty Work.

Macpherson has two sons, Arpad Flynn Alexander Busson and Aurelius Cy Andrea Busson; known as Flynn and Cy respectively; with long term boyfriend Arpad Busson, a wealthy Swiss/French financier worth roughly $100,000,000 (USD). The couple got engaged on the announcement of Macpherson’s second pregnancy in August 2002. But Aurelius Cy’s birth in February 2003 led to tensions, with Macpherson booking herself into Arizona’s exclusive Meadows Institute, where she was treated for exhaustion and post natal depression. The couple parted in July 2005 as, according to Macpherson, Busson was so devout a Catholic he decided he could not marry a divorcée, despite having two children with her out of wedlock and in spite of Macpherson herself being Catholic.

Love reportedly struck again for the Australian supermodel in November, 2006, when she started dating British actor Ray Fearon. But their love story was short-lived, with the couple splitting in April, 2007. Mcpherson and Fearon always maintained they were “just friends”.

The Hollywood rumour mill went into overdrive again in February 2008, with reports that Mcpherson, 44, had begun seeing art curator Vito Schnabel – the 21-year-old son of Oscar-nominated director and artist Julian Schnabel. Mcpherson and Schnabel first hit the celebrity radar a month earlier, when London paparazzi caught the unlikely couple at 1am as they sat chatting together inside her luxury car. The London-based fashion entrepreneur is also rumoured to have dated the late Michael Hutchence, Australian restaurateur David Evans  and real-estate developer John Hitchcox.

Ann Hathaway Sexy Celebrity Images - Update!

Apr 2, 2008 Author: admin | Filed under: Ann Hathaway

Anne Jacqueline Hathaway (born November 12, 1982) is an American actress and singer. Hathaway made her acting debut in the 1999 television series Get Real, but her first prominent role was in Disney’s family comedy The Princess Diaries (2001), which established her career. She continued to appear in family films over the next three years, and she had the lead roles in Ella Enchanted and The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (both 2004). Hathaway wanted to break the “G-rated” image, and consequently, in 2005 she co-starred in the adult-themed Havoc and Brokeback Mountain, both requiring extensive nude scenes, as well as The Devil Wears Prada (2006), in which she starred opposite Meryl Streep. That film has become the highest-grossing film of her career. Becoming Jane, in which she stars as Jane Austen, was released in 2007.

Hathaway enjoys interior design and reading as pastimes, and has stated that she is a non-denominational Christian. She has cited Ayn Rand’s The Fountainhead (1943) as her favorite novel. Since 2004, Hathaway has been in a relationship with real estate developer Raffaello Follieri.

In regards to personal strife and subsequent media attention, Hathaway’s self-subscribed mantra is a quote by Oscar Wilde: “the less said about life’s sores the better.”
